Our Dive Centre

Scuba Tech, Cyprus is a professional dive centre based in Protaras. Created from a genuine passion for the sea and offering a five star service, we can help you create unforgettable underwater experiences.

We believe scuba diving should never feel rushed or overcrowded. That’s why we focus on small groups, personalised dive planning, and flexible schedules — allowing you to relax, enjoy longer dives, and truly experience the underwater world of Cyprus.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced diver, our goal is simple: safe, enjoyable, and memorable diving every time.

What we Do

At Scuba Tech Divers, we support divers at every stage of their journey — from first-time experiences taking their initial breath underwater and recreational courses to Divemaster programmes, and technical diving.

Our facility operates an on-site gas blending station capable of producing custom Nitrox and Trimix blends. This allows us to safely support a wide range of dive profiles and training requirements. We also provide a professional, well-equipped environment for visiting instructors and are proud to be GUE-friendly, supporting high standards of training, teamwork, and dive planning across all levels.

Whether your goal is to learn, progress, or explore the more demanding aspects of diving, we provide the infrastructure and experience to help you dive safely and confidently, supported by the highest standards, best practices, and team-oriented diving philosophies.

Meet Our Team

PETER CRANE

Owner, Instructor and Service Technician

Starting his diving career over 30 years ago with the BSAC, Peter has a wealth of experience in the diving industry.

Although he is a Tech and CCR instructor, he still loves teaching the introductory dives, taking people in the water for the very first time.

Peter also specialises in Sidemount diving and equipment configuration: helping divers feel confident and comfortable underwater.

With extensive experience in equipment maintenance, Peter is the "go-to" man for servicing regulators and cylinders in Cyprus and beyond

SHELLEY PATIENT

Instructor and Office Manager

Known for patience and attention to detail, Shelley ensures every diver feels safe, relaxed, and fully supported throughout their dive experience.

Shelley is passionate about teaching and whether you are an Open Water or a Decompression Procedures student, you will always get five star training. If you are simply joining her on a guided excursion, you will definitely appreciate her ability to spot the sealife at the local dive sites, thanks, in part, to the slow pace of the dive

When she isn't in the water, you will usually find her in the office answering emails or updating the socials. Or you may find her in the blending room, mixing your gases for the next day of diving.

SCUBA CATS

Cuddle Monsters

Scuba Tech are proud to help look after the cats here in Cyprus and we currently have seven cats that call the dive centre their home.

All the cats here are neutered, fed and watered and provided with any medications that they need to keep them healthy and happy.

In the summer, they are often hiding from the sun during the day but for those divers that bring cat treats, there will always be cat cuddles available from these big personalities

Accredited as real Scuba Cats and with Cat Cuteness awards, you will absolutely love meeting these members of our Scuba Tech Team

Safety & Philosophy

Safety is our top priority. All dives are carefully planned and conducted by certified professionals following internationally recognised standards. Our equipment is meticulously maintained and with an in-line air tester, our breathing gases are always clean. Every diver receives thorough briefings to ensure confidence and peace of mind underwater.
