Shore and boat diving across some of the Mediterranean’s best underwater locations.
Cyprus offers excellent visibility, warm waters and a wide variety of dive sites suitable for all experience levels — from relaxed shore dives to deeper boat-access sites.
Below is a selection of shore and boat dive sites we regularly dive, chosen for their accessibility, interest and conditions.
A popular shore dive featuring underwater statues, sandy patches and frequent turtle and seahorse sightings.

Easy swimthroughs with plenty of light. Look out for the map of Cyprus at the cave entrance and plenty of seahorses in the sand.
Depth: 10–15m
A 10 minute swim due East of Green Bay brings you to a lovely swimthrough that starts at 12m and drops to 18m
Depth: 3–18m
A long gully, full of black sponges, running parallel to the shore line. Keep your eyes peeled for Morays, Flying Gurnard and turtles.
Depth: 12–17m
Our favourite deeper diving site with rocky drop-offs. You will find a jetski at 18m and the remnants of an old moped at the far wall.
Depth: 10–40m
Our first purposefully sunk shipwreck in Cyprus. The Liberty sank in 2009 and has been gathering tube worms and sea squirts since
Depth: 27m
We love the Nemesis as it is a perfect introduction to wreck diving. Look out for nudibranchs on this wreck and enjoy some easy penetration into the engine room
Depth: 25m
Reef structures sunk to create a marine habitat for underwater life. Giant nets have now sunk under the weight of clams growing, while morays and lionfish find their homes in the nooks and crannies.
Depth: 27–18m
Ayia Napa's only wreck to date sits in 22m of water and with crystal clear visibility you can get great shots of the whole wreck on descent'
Depth: 22m
A lovely boat dive, where you can often just drift with the current, as you dive around the coastline from Ayia Napa towards Protaras.
Depth: 5-18m
Sunk in 2019, the Elpida is a 63m long cargo vessel and a fabulous wreck for easy penetration options.
Depth: 28m
Sitting close to the Elpida wreck, the Lambousa is the newest Larnaca wreck to dive and a sister ship to the Costandis in Limassol.
Depth: 24m
Our most famous Cyprus wreck, perfect for Advanced Open Water to Technical divers.
Depth: 18-42m
Learn MoreWe don't dive here very often, due to its location and distance from resorts. The cricket sits on its head off the coast of Xylafagou.
Depth: 32m
A fun dive to combine with the HMS cricket. Enter the bat cave from 6m underwater and you can surface inside the cave to see the bats.
Depth: 6m
The Costandis is a real aquarium kind of dive with lots of fish life and impressive size groupers. Based in Limassol, it is a bit further to travel but well worth the effort.
Depth: 25m
An old pleasure boat, dived as part of a trip to Limassol along with the Costandis. The Lady Thetis is currently the only wreck we have that is within Open Water Limits.
Depth: 18m
