This adventure programme is open to anyone who would like to try Scuba Diving for the very first time under controlled conditions with a fully qualified PADI Instructor.
Group sizes are a maximum of 4 divers to an Instructor but with Scuba Tech, you will most likely have a one on one experience, so you will have the undivided attention of your instructor.
Photos and videos of your scuba diving adventure are available on request.
This course is a great option for those divers with time limitations, as it is the first half of the Open Water Course.
It comprises basic dive theory followed by three confined water dives and two open water dives, which takes place over 2 days.
After completing this course, the diver will be qualified to dive to 12 metres while accompanied by a PADI professional and your certification can also be credited towards the full Open Water Diver course when you have the time to upgrade.
The Open Water Diver is the first diving qualification allowing divers to dive without a PADI professional.
The course is conducted over 4 days and, in addition to the Scuba Diver course requirements, the diver will complete another two confined water dives and two open water dives. Additionally, the diver will learn dive planning and other essential skills allowing them to dive safely to depths of up to 18 metres.
The Advanced Open Water Diver course comprises five dives which are designed to give a variety of diving experiences from: Enriched Air Nitrox, Night Diving, Digital Underwater Photography and Search and Recovery.
Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver or an equivalent qualification.
The Emergency First Response course is a pre-requisite qualification in first aid for divers considering the Rescue Diver course. Equally, it provides an excellent first aid and secondary care knowledge base for non-divers.
The course duration is 1 day and will leave the student confident to cope in emergency situations by learning CPR, shock management and bandaging. To keep your first aid skills up to date and your Emergency First Response qualification current, this certification must be refreshed every 2 years.
The Rescue Diver course is a course that will build your confidence no end in the water. In a safe, fun environment, you will learn how to self rescue and rescue others while remaining out of danger yourself. Lifting divers from depth, Life saving skills and in-water resuscitation are all skills that will be taught and developed during this training.
Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent qualification.
There are a number of PADI specialty courses available to Divers to expand knowledge, experience and scuba skills base.
From Fish Identification to Wreck Diving, Boat Diving and Underwater Digital Photography, broaden your horizons with a specialty certification.
This 1-day program provides you with the necessary skills to undertake Nitrox dives using mixes of 32% & 36%. The course includes 2 optional Nitrox dives from shore or on Zenobia.
This course is a 2 week intensive course, enabling the diver to join the ranks of the professional diving community. Developing rescue skills, dive planning, skills performance and learning to use your knowledge and skills to teach others, this is a course that will pave the way to your instructor course.
Prerequisites:Min. Age 18. Rescue diver or equivalent.
