Where better to learn to dive but in the balmy waters of Cyprus. The training conditions are excellent here, with crystal clear seas, water temperatures up to 30 degrees centigrade and visibility that can reach 40 metres plus.
The PADI Open Water Course usually takes 3-4 days to complete and comprises; Knowledge Development, Skills Practice and 4 Open Water Dives in the Mediterranean Sea. You will see and enjoy Cyprus Dive Sites such as Cyclops, Green Bay and the Tunnels and Caves.
You will learn how to use and put together basic Scuba Gear and, when the course is over, we at Scuba Tech Diving Centre Cyprus will still be available to give you advice regarding which diving equipment would be best suited to you for the type of diving you plan to do.
PADI Scuba Diver Course
The PADI Scuba Diver Course isperfect for those divers who are short on time but want to begin the journey to Certification.
The PADI Scuba Diver Course is shorter than the PADI Open Water Diver Course, comprising 3 of the 5 knowledge development section and confined Diving Skills Sessions and 2 Open Water Dives in the Sea.
By the end of the PADI Scuba Diver course, you will be qualified to dive with a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12metres. This gives you the opportunity to build up ample diving experience but the really great news is, that when you are ready to progress to the full Open Water Diver Certification, you will only need to complete the final 2 knowledge development and confined skills sessions and the Final 2 Open Water Dives with Final Exam.
To take part in a PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diving Course in Cyprus, you must be at least 10 years old. Included in the price here at Scuba Tech Diving Centre, are all the student manuals and certification fees, Diving Logbook and Electronic Dive Planner.
After your First diving training course, you will want to look at taking part in Safari Dives around Cyprus to build up your confidence and experience or consider taking the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, which qualifies the diver to a maximum depth of 30 metres
