Scuba-Tech Diving Centre is based in Protaras on the East Coast of Cyprus and offers a year round training facility for both Recreational and Technical Divers.
There are a variety of dive sites available close to the dive centre from calm, shallow reefs perfect for beginners to deeper waters and wrecks for more advanced, technical and rebreather divers.
Primarily a diver training facility, Scuba Tech Diving Centre is a TDI Technical Diving Centre, offering a full range of Technical Courses from Nitrox to Trimix and rebreather diving courses. We also offer support to Divers and Instructors from other agencies.
We are also a BSAC Dive Centre, offering BSAC diver courses from absolute beginner to advanced Nitrox while our resident PADI instructors can offer you PADI training from beginner through the ranks of technical diving with the PADI TECREC program (TEC40, TEC45 and TEC50).
Scuba-Tech is a fully equipped Diving Centre with complete facilities for recreational, technical and rebreather diving.
We have a separate mixing / compressor room which has plenty of O2 and Helium for gas blending nitrox and trimix and with our partial pressure blending panel, custom mixes are easily provided. Alongside a Haskel Gas Booster, it has never been easier to get those higher pressures (200bar) in rebreather cylinders and Stages.
Scuba-Tech also boasts a good supply of Dive Lime for rebreather divers, which is available for purchase by the kilo or by the drum. Contact us for more information regarding prices.

At the rear of the shop, Scuba Tech Divers will find a Diving Equipent wash-down area with Drying Cage under a well shaded area. There is also ample parking at the dive centre with onsite car park.

Our workshop is fully equipped for all servicing and combined with our in house service technician who can service almost any make and model of regulator and test cylinders, you will not need to go anywhere else. Batteries in dive computers can be easily changed here at Scuba Tech with a pressure test to ensure everything is secure. We sell the batteries and O Ring Kits for those divers with user changeable Dive Computers, with an added service of a pressure test, if required or desired.

Our service is tailored to meet your requirements (and those of your family/friends) on your holiday. As we deal in small groups and one to ones, we have the flexibility to adapt dive times, pick up times and dives to make diving in Cyprus as easy for you as possible.
You will never be "lumped in" with other groups and when the centre does get busy, we have our fully qualified and experienced resident Dive Masters that are available to guide you on your dives, so you will get the most from your time with us and will not have dives limited by other divers. Your dives will only be limited by your air supply and comfort in the water.
We are open year round from about 7am to late, seven days a week for scuba diving, equipment servicing and gas mixing.
Diving for over 25 years Peter is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, DSAT TecRec Instructor, BSAC and TDI instructor.
He worked at Stoney Cove in the UK for 4 years and has spent 15 years in Cyprus, diving and instructing for both Recreational Scuba and Technical Diving
Peter is also an instructor for ISC Megalodon and Pathfinder rebreathers, an ASSET Cylinder Testing Technician and regulator service technician for numerous makes of regulator including; Apeks, Aqualung, Cressi and Poseidon.
Currently, Peter is undergoing the rigorous GUE instructor Training, which we hope to be able to offer here in Cyprus in the next 12 months.
Diving for 16 years now, Shelley fell in love with Scuba while working here in Cyprus.
A PADI instructor and Trimix Diver, when she is not teaching, you will most likely find Shelley behind the lens of a camera, as she shoots our amazing Diving Videos and Photos. You can find these in our video application on our facebook page or on You Tube
Lucy was bitten by the diving bug when she was just a babe in arms and learned to dive with BSAC back in the cold, murky waters of the UK.
In 2015, her parents brought her to Cyprus on a holiday and she kept coming back. Over the past years. Lucy has completed her Divemaster training with us, swiftly followed by her PADI instructor training.
A fabulous instructor and a GUE trained diver, Lucy has now chosen to move back to the UK to work in Stoney Cove and continue her teaching there. She still returns to us in Cyprus to dive and help out and we hope that she will continue to do so. Our family is not complete without her and she will always be an important part of the Scuba Tech Team.
John completed his PADI Divemaster Training with us in 2013 and spending time with people underwater was his niche in life.
There is no one part of Scuba Diving in Cyprus that John loved more than any other. He just loved getting wet below the surface of the sea, chilling out, relaxing and showing everyone the wonder of the Underwater World.
Unfortunately, John is no longer with us but he is forever in our hearts and eternally, a part of our diving family here at Scuba Tech.
