Well, the Summer Season has ended & we are officially in Winter Dive Mode now. Our drysuits are back at the ready for the temperature to drop below 24 °C. Almost there!

As always though, Scuba Tech will be open throughout the year and we welcome all divers through the winter months for dive training or just for fun dives.

We have been having great fun here in Protaras with our new Pathfinder rebreather. Being so much lighter than the Megalodon, has made it a very popular CCR for try dives with the same amazing build quality as the Meg herself.

We are loving all the new wrecks around the Cyprus coast and have been to visit them all several times already. You can start to see the life starting to develop now and we hope this will continue.

This year so far, we have introduced many new divers to the under water world with plenty of introduction dives and PADI Open Water Courses. Cyprus is a great place to come to learn to scuba dive. The conditions are so calm and the visibility is fantastic.

The weather here is starting to warm up now and the water is already 23 degrees, which is lovely and balmy. What makes things even better are all the great people that have been here and are due to come in 2014 with both old and new friends joining us for our dives.

The 22nd of June is set to be the date for the sinking of the next wreck for divers in Cyprus.

This one is the Laboe Wreck, a 21 metre long cruise vessel, set to go down in Paphos.

We have had a great time the other 3 wrecks that have already been sunk in 2013/2014 and are very much looking forward to diving this new addition.

April brings Tech Divers back to Cyprus. We have TDI Adv. Nitrox training courses running with spaces still available for those interested and the end of April, beginning of May sees plenty of Meg Rebreather divers arriving in Protaras for Zenobia and wreck Diving.

Around all this dive training and scuba diving, there will of course be time; to take part in some of the numerous beach and underwater clean ups that are planned around the Eastern Cyprus coast during 2014, the obligatory pre-night dive BBQs and fun in the sun.

This takes place at the end of April in Ayia Napa and we are very excited to see what the results of this meeting would be. We will keep you posted, so there is a good reason to keep checking back.
