The Tilly Tec Light System is designed and built to be robust and durable. The system really is foolproof as there are no buttons, relays, switches or holes in the battery packs, meaning there are no wires to connect up or soldered fittings to break. The lamps switch on by rotating the heads and if you rotate it too far, the triple o-ring seals protect the head from becoming flooded.
The TillyTec Light Systemis completely modular. This means that it is possible to change the light heads and the battery configuration and can upgrade these parts (change your halogen light head to an LED) or replace the battery pack in seconds as easily as changing the batteries in a normal alkaline battery torch. All main lamps xan be configured as torches or umbilical canister lights and changed swiftly changed from one to the other by the user.
TillyTec components are fully guaranteed and can be serviced. The lights use high intensity LEDs, which are 100 to 150 times more powerful than comon LEDs and when incorporated with the specially developed reflectors and lenses, these LED torches are rival to equivalent HID torches with the biggest advantage being that LEDs have an extremely long lifetime of approximately 50,000 to
100,000 hours -and they are practically indestructible!
